(above) The original Bodging collection.
David Dewing, former Director of the Geffyre Museum, London, said :
The Bodging Milano project has injected new life and creativity into one of our most familiar pieces of furniture. It is exciting to see some of our best designers today taking the essence of the traditional Windsor chair and creating new ideas and forms, not only on paper or screen but in wood, cut, shaped and turned in the forest using traditional tools and techniques in order to explore and feel at first hand the essential qualities of the material. The results are beautiful, quirky, amusing and delightful, a wonderful fusion of the traditional and contemporary.
